Title: IOOS Workshop: Small Sea Changes, Big Business Impacts
Date: April 14 - 15, 2009
Location: NOAA Science Center in Silver Spring, Maryland
Details: The Interagency Working Group on Ocean Observations (IWGOO) is organizing this meeting and has slated Mary Glackin, Deputy Undersecretary for Oceans and Atmosphere, to speak. NOAA IOOS and National Ocean Service Assistant Administrator Jack Dunnigan will both participate. This is a workshop to explore how enhanced understanding of the oceans improves weather and climate prediction, enabling better informed business decisions.
